Being a firefighter/paramedic wife, I have a very soft place in my heart and passion for the first responder community. It is my goal to provide resources and support for first responder wives, with the hopes of one day using my MA in Crisis Counseling & Trauma to open a first responder family counseling center or offer shift day support services.

I wanted to start doing a little something to thank those who have supported and continue to support my writing endeavors. Check out the page every month to see what free item you can grab (it might be specific to moms, marriage, or fire wives). Keep checking back!

Lizzy just launched her podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts - "Fire Wife Chronicles by Lizzy Christian: The Podcast." This podcast is for women and mothers of all ages and stages β aiming to help listeners embrace their chaos, realize all parts of their life story matter, and walk alongside listeners as they find joy in the mundane β regardless of where they are in life.

Recently I felt the weight of my responsibilities pressing in on me. Everywhere I looked, there was something else I had to do β laundry piles, dishes, toys, messes, errandsβ¦ it felt endless. And honestly? I was getting lost in the overwhelm instead of seeing the good woven into my everyday life. When I slowed down, breathed, and shifted my mindset from βI have toβ to βI get to,β everything softened. The tasks didnβt magically disappear β but the heaviness did.
Because behind every chore is a blessing,
I donβt want to take for granted.
